CPA Property started life as Commercial Property Associates back in the days of the 1989 recession, when there was a melt down in property values overnight, resulting in small businesses and private property investors being left high and dry with the crash in the market and a nervous banking industry.

With 80 years of combined property industry experience, Tom Aldridge, a former corporate Property Director of a major insurance company and his younger surveyor brother, Andrew, joined forces to form CPA working with friends, families, new and established clients to provide a professional, personal and confidential property consultancy service.

This was the embryo of CPA property Chartered Surveyors. CPA property came into its own again in 2007 / 2008 with help and sensible advice for clients in an extremely drawn out and trying market.

The CPA Property team has been involved in many varied, often confidential property and land events in the South, from leisure arenas, to the acquisition for clients of a large recording studio. Land and property within and outside the South Downs National Park, including the sale of small farms for development and farm buildings for residential and commercial conversion, the management of small and large commercial estates and selling obsolete town centre buildings then securing tenants, hereby breathing new life into failing town centres.

With Neighbourhood Plans we have been involved in several submissions in the South and with Brexit approaching (or not) who knows what awaits the property industry…
